Many online car advertisements can be somewhat misleading and sometimes outright fabrications. It seems this was the scenario with an advertisement featured on Facebook by Infiniti of Louisville. Sherri Cooper noticed an advertisement for a 2017 Infiniti QX30, with an MSRP of $35,000, being offered for sale at $17,790. After displaying this to her spouse, Chris Cooper, the pair contacted the sales manager at Infiniti of Louisville to determine if they could transform this advertisement into a reality.

As expected, Infiniti of Louisville declined to honor the advertisement. Subsequently, the Infiniti Sales Manager decided to intervene and reached out to Infiniti’s corporate office. Infiniti directed them to honor the offer and assured the dealership that the discrepancy would be covered. Infiniti Corporate then phoned the Coopers and advised them to accept the offer. Infiniti corporate upheld the advertisement, placing value on their “integrity” and “reputation” over financial gain.

The exact reason behind the advertisement offering a 2017 Infiniti QX30 for $17,790 remains unclear, but it certainly turned out to be to the advantage of the Coopers.
