The latest model year introduces the availability of bundles that combine numerous popular individual features. Among these innovative packs are enhancements that boost the driving dynamics, upgrades that enhance performance in frigid conditions or while towing, and a selection that heightens comfort.
For instance, there is an Off-Road Kit which includes an electronic active differential, roof racks, all-terrain tires, and a wade sensing feature. This can be coupled with an Advanced Off-Road Bundle that incorporates air suspension, off-road driving modes, and more.
Within the cabin, there are packages like the Comfort and Convenience Bundle that integrates ambient lighting, a premium Meridian audio system, and a front console refrigerator. An Enhanced Interior Upgrade Bundle introduces additional leather trim and 14-way heated and cooled front seats with memory settings.
Customers interested in the elongated Defender 130 will now have the option to select captain’s chairs for the first time, facilitating access to the third row. These seats are equipped with heating and cooling features, along with individual armrests.
Additionally, the Defender can be customized with a matte-finish protective film.
The powertrains remain unaltered. Depending on the trim level, buyers can select from a 2.0-liter turbo-4 generating 296 hp, a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 mild-hybrid producing 395 hp, or a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 churning out either 493 or 518 hp. For those seeking peak performance, JLR will unveil the new Defender Octa variant on July 3. This will be an aggressive offering powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 likely pushing out over 600 hp.
The 2025 Guardian starts at $58,375 for the two-door Defender 90, from $62,275 for the four-door Defender 110, and from $71,175 for the elongated Defender 130. All prices include a $1,475 destination charge.
