Novitec Unveils the N-Largo Huracan Spyder: A Bold Take on the Lamborghini

Following their remarkable reinterpretation of the Ferrari F40 with the N-Largo 488 GTB, Novitec, renowned for its extravagant automotive enhancements, is now applying its expertise to Lamborghini’s offerings. While the Lamborghini Huracan has showcased its capabilities with over 2,000 horsepower and top-tier performance, Novitec’s latest creation isn’t aimed at being a mere speed demon. Instead, the N-Largo Huracan Spyder emerges as a striking, convertible powerhouse.

From our perspective, the Novitec N-Largo Huracan Spyder exemplifies what the standard Huracan should have delivered straight from the Lamborghini factory. Featuring a bold new front bumper, flared bodywork, and a supercharged 5.2-liter V-10 engine, Novitec’s modifications strike the perfect balance between refinement and sheer audacity—much like the traditional supercars crafted in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Although the Lamborghini Huracan Performante is on the horizon, anticipated to be a significant advancement for the brand, the convertible variant remains a future prospect.

The modified front bumper is designed to minimize front axle lift, thereby enhancing steering precision. The wider front fenders, which extend the overall width by approximately 2.4 inches, include specialized three-slot vents to boost airflow to the front brakes. While the central section of the vehicle maintains its original width, the rocker panels have been reimagined to incorporate additional cooling vents for the rear brakes. The newly expanded rear fenders add nearly five inches in width, completing the car’s alluring hourglass silhouette.

In addition to aesthetic enhancements, numerous optional naked carbon fiber accents are available. A lowered suspension by 1.4 inches and staggered wheel sizes—20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear—further improve handling dynamics. However, the most impressive transformation takes place under the hood. Although some purists may view supercharging a naturally aspirated engine as controversial, the resulting output of 860 horsepower and 709 lb-ft of torque is difficult to contest. Performance figures have yet to be released, but with an optional lightweight Inconel exhaust system derived from Formula One technology, this vehicle is destined to challenge top competitors.

Mirroring other exclusive Novitec projects, production of the N-Largo Huracan Spyder will be limited to just 11 units, each featuring a dazzling Verde Mantis finish. While it may be out of reach for many enthusiasts, the rest of us can still appreciate this automotive masterpiece from afar.
