Hoosier has developed a comprehensive lineup of racing tires tailored for various applications including road courses, dirt tracks, drag racing, karting, off-roading, rallying, and pro street vehicles. Until recently, none of these tires were suitable for street use—but that has changed.
Introducing the Hoosier TrackAttack Pro, an extreme summer performance tire that is now street-legal in the U.S. It is available in over 40 sizes, accommodating wheel diameters ranging from 15 to 21 inches.

Hoosier highlights several features of this tire, including a motorsports-derived compound, a wide shoulder rib, and a center rib that enhance braking performance, all showcasing its suitability for the track. Furthermore, it is claimed to have a longer tread life compared to Hoosier’s R7 racing tire.
In 2016, Continental acquired Hoosier, preserving the brand largely due to the minimal overlap in their respective customer bases. Hoosier was predominantly recognized for its drag racing tires, while Continental focused more on performance tires for road courses. Additionally, Continental continues to manufacture a broad spectrum of tires for non-track applications.

The TrackAttack Pro serves as a bridge between the two brands, sharing similar concepts with the Continental Extreme Contact Force, a summer performance tire developed with Hoosier’s input. While Hoosier claims the TrackAttack Pro excels in dry handling and braking, the Extreme Contact Force offers a more conservative design that prioritizes comfort and performance in wet conditions.
Hoosier tires have been trusted by a range of vehicles, from the Honda Mean Mower V2 to the 2022 Chevrolet COPO 572 Camaro, a drag car equipped with a big-block V-8. Now, it’s easier than ever for you to fit them on your vehicle too.
